She is survived by: her children, Jackie Spech Hahn (Dustan), Stan Spech (Mary-Ann), Karen Spech Obermeier and Jim Spech (Lisa). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will direct donations to Brookestone Meadows Pastoral Care in Elkhorn.

“I had the greatest honor of getting to know Jan through our many visits and songs we would sing together. She loved her family so much and spoke often about her once in a lifetime love, Will. She loved hosting events and baking cinnamon rolls and talking about how much everyone loved them! I loved making sure her lights always had batteries in them, and I cherish the time we had together. Sending all my love to her family.”
