Janice A. Recek Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice A. Recek (Omaha, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bausch and Lillian "Lill" Bausch; her sisters, Christina Dupsky and Veronica Kauk; and her brotherinlaw Doyle Kauk.

She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Kristine (Tim); her husband Curtis Recek; her son Matthew Michaelsen (Michele); her grandsons, Austin Fry (Jessica), Ethan Jordan, Wyatt Michaelsen and Quinn Michaelsen; her great grandchild Aiden Fry; and her siblings, Philip Bausch (Jeannette) and Deanna Bausch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
