She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Engelbart and Alverna Engelbart (Jahnke); her son Brent Bowman; and her brothers, John and Joel Engelbart.
She is survived by: her son Ryan Bowman (Monica) of Omaha; her grandson Ethan Dibbern of Omaha; her siblings, Jim Engelbart of West Point, NE and Jody Lindberg (Mike) of Lincoln, NE; and her close friend Bill Cook of Omaha. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
