Jeanne leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jeanne’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jeanne will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Richeson and Josephine Richeson; her husband William F. Ballard; and her sister Jacqueline. She is survived by: her children, Barbara A. Ballard, Kathryn J. Ballard and William J. Ballard (Suzanne); her granddaughter Brooke Ballard; and her brother James Richeson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pacific Street Chapel (14151 Pacific St, Omaha, NE 68154). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (1920 N 102nd St, Omaha, NE 68114, USA). An entombment was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (7710 W Center Rd, Omaha, NE 68124).
