She is survived by: her son Jim; her grandson Nicholas; her sisters, Jan, Bev Nissen and Barb Broderick; her children, Mary Ries Jensen (Mike) of Cincinnatti, Susan Ries Dames (Dick) of Waverly and John Ries (Nadine) of Omaha; and her husband Glenn Ries. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren along with many dear friends.
