She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Rinker Fairfield and Edith Fern Fairfield (Aldrich); her husband Tom Gogerty; her brother Allen Fairfield; her siblings-in-law, John Gogerty (Shirley), James L. Gogerty (Janice) and Sandy Sherry; her aunt Connie Diggs; James and Marion Gogerty.

She is survived by: her children, Dawn Merrick (Joe Gioia) of Union, NE, Ember Davis of Millard, NE and Jeffrey Gogerty (Karen) of Plano, TX; her grandsons, Christopher Kelsey (Emily) and Reed Gogerty; her great grandchild Eloise Kelsey; her pet Belle Edith; her brother John "Jack" Fairfield (Jeannie) of Farnam, NE; and her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Fairfield of Aurora, NE and Sue Howard (Gary) of Centerville, UT. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

The family suggests memorial donations to Nebraska Humane Society, Alzheimer's Association or Methodist Hospital Foundation.
