She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hunzeker and Marie Hunzeker; her former husband Conrad Bastow (Roger); her son Curtis; her siblings, Ina (Bryce) and Clark; and her brother-in-law Allan Macklem.
She is survived by: her son Christopher (Estrella); her grandchildren, David (Christine) and Cristina (Ben); her daughter Cindy (Mark); her grandchildren, Travis (Karina), Tracy (Jock), Ty (Lauren) and Taryn (Alec); her daughter Joy (Justin); her grandchildren, Ellie, William and Evan; her son Jon (Juliette); her brother Alan (Barbara); and her sisters-in-law, Marge and Janet Jo. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Andrew United Methodist Church (15050 W Maple Rd, Omaha, NE 68164).
Memorials can be made to the family for later designation.
