He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ethel (Oliverius) and Clifford Girardot; his daughter Elizabeth Smoot; and his brother Clifford. He is survived by: his wife Bette Neuberger; his children, Julie Rivard (John), John Girardot (Linda), Jeff Girardot (Mary) and Kristin Gallagher (Joseph); his son-in-law Scott Smoot; his grandchildren, Nicolas Rivard (Tracy), Elisabeth Rivard (Alec), Grace Prado (Gabe), Charlotte Rivard (Cullen), Claire Girardot, Jack Girardot, Jeffrey Girardot, Katie Girardot, Julia Gallagher, Elise Girardot, Fiona Girardot, Sara Gallagher and Emily Gallagher; his great grandchildren, Santiago, Elisa Prado, John and Virginia Clare Rivard; his sister Ann; his siblings-in-law, Leo Bellantoni, Lorene Girardot and Mary Kay Kurtz; his brother Joseph; and his sister-in-law Patti Neuberger.
