He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Rayer and Hilda Rayer (Schwartz); his brother Bob Rayer; and his niece Julie Rayer. He is survived by: his wife Carol McCrillis; his children, Todd (Theresa), Scott Rayer (Lesley) and Tina Fintel (David); his grandchildren, Brooke, Gage, Gabriel, Taylor, Abby and Braden; and his siblings, Darlene, Paula, Bill, Dan and Deb.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reichmuth Funeral Home - Omaha (21901 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
