John Phillip Rivera Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 3, 2025, at the age of 83, John Phillip Rivera (Omaha, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John Phillip may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Phillip touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his father Phillip Rivera; his wife Regena Rivera; his mother Frances Schnieder (Carl); his siblings, Phyllis Tanner, Velma Rossmanith, Tony Rivera and Rosie Rivera; and his friend Doris Landstrom.

He is survived by: his son Todd Rivera (Tammy). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
