He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Peters and Theresa Peters; and his siblings, Patrick Peters, Richard Pedersen and Toni Rickmeyer.
He is survived by: his sons, Ted Peters of Omaha, NE and John "Bubba" Peters (Alyssa) of Fort Calhoun, NE; his friend Katie Fulton of Beatrice, NE; his siblings, Mike Peters (Carol) and Michelle Krieder (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Atticus, Thatcher, Aurora, Weston, Jaxson and Knox. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home (214 N 14th St, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery (1987 Rd P32, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023).
