He is survived by: his wife Beverly Welker; his children, Jason Byers (Carissa), Lynnette Boyd, Laurie Byers, Justin Byers (Rachel), Jeremy Byers (Nicole), Joshua Byers, Suzy and Branden Adams; his brother David Welker; and his niece Erica Bowers. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; one great-grandson.
