He is survived by: his son Gabriel Tompkins; his wife April; his mother Georgialee Cleveland; his sisters, Sammie Tompkins and Deena Tompkins; his siblings-in-law, Ashley Williamson, Carly O'Dell, Taylor O'Dell and Connor O'Dell; and his siblings' children, Chloe, Ariana, Tayrn, Kalyssa, Charlotte and Jaiden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be sent to the family.
