He is survived by: his wife Ana Cardenas; his children, Jorge Cardenas, Jr. and Sophia Cardenas; and his siblings, Jesus Manuel Cardenas, Viviano Cardenas, Francisco Cardenas, Elva Martinez, Odila Diaz, Martha Blanco, Maricela Chaidez, Eva Cavada and Noelia Cardenas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
