He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Gonzalez; and his great-grandparent Herlinda Pinto Hinojosa Gonzalez. He is survived by: his father German Montes Zuniga; his son Jose Carlos Montes (Joselito); his grandparents, Ramon and Martha P. De Gonzalez; his sisters, Martha E. Montes and Itzel A. Montes; his nephew David I. Ortiz; and his niece Martha Ellena Ortiz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Bridget Catholic Church (4112 S 26th St, Omaha, NE 68107).
