He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Standeven and Mary Standeven; his son Joel Standeven; and his sister Chris Cerveny. He is survived by: his wife Tina Standeven; his children, Marjie Standeven, Ruth Friedman (Dan) and Daniel Standeven (Valerie); his stepchildren, Chantal and Nick Dubois; and his siblings, Ann Charles (Terry), Sue VoorVart, John Standeven (Kathie), Marian Standeven, Richard Standeven (Joan), Therese Gaeta (John) and Michael Standeven (Chris). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, his extended family and many good friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the 72nd Street Chapel (1010 N 72nd St, Omaha, NE 68114). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
