He is survived by: his children, Debbie Benge, Mary Jo Conner, Anne Rains (Bill), Joseph Benak, Michelle Benak, David Benak (Michelle) and Stephen Benak (Heather); and his sister Carol Strickland (Bud). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter.
