He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Francis (Fritz) and Helen Lucinda Murphy (Wyant); and his siblings, Francis Edward (Eddie), Michael Leon (Jackie), Aldon James (AJ) and Connie Sue (Duane Shald).
He is survived by: his sons, Jacob and Jered Murphy of Omaha, NE; and his siblings, Martha Jones (Freddie) of Abilene, KS, Dennis Murphy of Colorado Springs, CO and Robert Murphy of North Platte, NE..
