He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou; and his son Paul Smith. He is survived by: his children, Michael Smith (Vicki) and Carol Cammarata (Joseph); his daughter-in-law Kathy Smith; his grandchildren, Mathias Smith (Claire), Nicholas and Christopher Cammarata; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Leigh. He is also survived by his extended family and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
