She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Burris and Helen Katherine Main; her husband James Lee Salmans; and her siblings, Marjorie Ilene Bruce, Barbara Joan Dunlap, Earl Vernon Burris Sr., Florence Elizabeth Hall and James Harrison Burris.

She is survived by: her brothers, Larry Dean Burris, John Michael Burris and Frank Eugene Burris; and her children, Mark Alan Salmans (Cindy), James Curtis Salmans (Katherine), Mary Katherine Fischer, Lorrie Ann Morton (Dusty), Michele Marie Stromp (Dan), John Paul Salmans (Brenda) and Angela Beth Killeen.
