She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lattion and Mattie Lattion; her husband Ezra Woods; her daughter April Underwood; her stepson Marcus Woods; and her sisters, Elizabeth Spurlock and Mary Bowlin.

She is survived by: her children, Wesley Callaway (Marcie), Karen Callaway and Lauren Kirk Callaway (Kay); and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Akardal and Susan Woods. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-granddaughter.

“Joyce was such a bright spot for me when we both lived in Alaska. We first met at the offices where she was a receptionist. We got to be good friends. She invited me to her home to play the Hand and Foot card game with her & Ezra. We had many fun evenings getting together. Joyce was so quick to admit where she felt she was falling short & quick to appreciate God’s grace. We loved to talk about what the Bible had to say about things and health practices we each did. I miss her! Stella Josephine”
