She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bindrum and Ethel Bindrum; her husband William "Bill" Grant Meyer; her sister Brenda Coy; and her brothers-in-law, Phil Mendoza and Bernie Sherman.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Meyer (Joann) of Omaha, Dave Meyer (Carrie) of Omaha and Kathy Hostert (Nick) of O'Neill; her sisters, Janice Sherman of Lincoln, Linda Mendoza of Lincoln and Jean Piontek (Alan) of Lincoln; and her brother-in-law Jerry Coy. She is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Home For Funerals Chapel (708 Georgia Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Prospect Hill Cemetery (Maple Ave & N 13th St, Norfolk, NE 68701).
Memorials are suggested to Norfolk VFW or the Norfolk High School Athletic Booster Club.
