She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Newman and Alma Newman. She is survived by: her husband Ronald J. Goodman; her sister Barbara Wilson (George); and her children, Diane Poots, Linda Morrison, Dan Morrison (Kristie), Susan Schneider (Steven) and Christine Morgan (Caleb). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John A. Gentleman Mortuary (14151 Pacific St, Omaha, NE 68154). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (14330 Eagle Run Dr, Omaha, NE 68164). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68117).
