She was predeceased by: her father Leon Tyler; and her sister Shelia Y. Thompson. She is survived by: her mother Judy Woods; her daughters, Laquina Woods and Ann Woods; and her siblings, Pat Hartfield Sherline Woods (Texas), Aaron Gibbs, Dwayne Gibbs and Courtney Woods (Wisconsin). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
