He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Bender and Mary Lou Bender (Braun); his brother Kevin Bender; and his granddaughter Charlie Bender. He is survived by: his son Rodney Bender of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Bryn Bender of Omaha, NE, Ruby Bender of Omaha, NE and Crew Bender of Omaha, NE; his great grandchildren, Evie, Asher and Violet Bender; and his siblings, Chris Forell (Bruce) of Arcadia, CA and Kirk Bender (Leslie) of Omaha.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home (413 Elm St, Louisville, NE 68037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home Chapel (413 Elm St, Louisville, NE 68037).
