He is survived by: his former wife Sara De La Cruz; his children, Xavier De La Cruz, Isabella De La Cruz and Josie Staples; his father Robert Staples; his brother Max Staples; his sister-in-law Savera Miller; and his sibling's children, Kyler Miller, Tariah Staples and Rowen Staples. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
