Novak; her son Chip; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Erickson; her granddaughter Eden Erickson; her siblings, Bill Poole of Fremont and Shelly; her brother-in-law Bradley Pfeiffer of Ashland; and her siblings' children, Leslie Ruch (family: Dennis, Marissa Ruch, Chase Kruse) and Blake Mollak (family: Kelly, Taryn).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Nebraska Humane Society.
