Kristin leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Kristin’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Kristin will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter A. Hand; and her parents, Norman Mactier and Hope Mactier. She is survived by: her children, Tyler Hand (Kathy), Kerry Ridgway (Joe DiGiacomo) and Fritz Hand (Fe); and her nieces, Barbara Conway and Pam McCarthy. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home (5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106).
