He was predeceased by: his wife Dawn Nelson; his parents, Caroline Nelson and Mervin Nelson; his grandmother Albina Cromey Ourada (Adoph Ourada); his parents-in-law, Valerie Marks and Donald Marks; his brother Robert Nelson; and his sister-in-law Diane Meduna Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Toka Nelson, Tessa O'Neill and Chris Nelson; his grandchildren, Winston, Fiona and Leo O'Neill; his siblings, Timothy Nelson, James Nelson (Tammy Lawther Nelson), Gerald Nelson (Sandy), Nancy Nelson Henrichson (Dean Henrichson), Monica Nelson Govind (Dileep Kumar) and Cynthia Nelson; his sisters-in-law, Wendy Loehr (Kevin Loehr), Valerie (Jake Loehr), Jauna Cave, Nicole Cave, Kara Marks (Jacob Marks), Sabrina Marks (Donald Marks) and Zimmie Marks; Ben O'Neill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including one great-great nephew; and by his brothers-.
