He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Barnes; his children, Sidney Lee Barnes, Lewis Garwood Barnes III, Lance William Barnes, Wendy Kirkle (Scott Holman), Kevin Kirkle (Lynn), Demi Sims and Deon Sims; and his siblings, Lucy, Russell Barnes and Richard Barnes. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
