He was predeceased by: his parents, Meinert Miller and Agnes Miller (Waltke); his brother Lester Miller; and his brother-in-law Loren Daubendiek. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Miller of Omaha; his daughter Kelly Miller of Bellevue; his stepdaughter Toby Powless of Omaha; and his sister Dorothy Daubendiek of Beatrice. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
