Linda left this world on April 23, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Wakehouse and Alice Wakehouse; her husband Lyndall Shropshire; her granddaughter Violet Valasek; and her great grandchild Ava Marie Eason.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Shropshire, Kristina Valasek (Andrew) and Trisha Baker; her grandchildren, Alexandria Shropshire, Logan Reed, Vincent Valasek, Ezekiel Valasek, Colin Wilson, Alexis Wilson and Michael Charache; and her brother Charles "Chuck" Wakehouse (Karen).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
