She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hurt and Alice Hurt; her grandparents, Frank, Wilma Hurt, Fred and Ruth Ehlrich; her grandson David Smith Jr.; her uncles, Donald Ehlrich and Richard Ehlrich; and her aunt Helen Randall (Raymond).
She is survived by: her husband Del Smith; her sons, David Smith (Christine) and Todd Smith (Michelle); her grandchildren, Jessica Lopez, Dustin Smith (Shelby), Lily Gorum, David O'Brien, Addison O'Brien and Jersey O'Brien; her great grandchildren, Brooklynn Lopez and Trenton Lopez; her cousins, Linda Swanson (Tom) and Cindy Cerveny (Dan); and her sister-in-law Debbie Wolf (Matt). She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106).
