With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lola Marie Cummings of Omaha, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lola Marie left this world on July 23, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Melton (Jack) and Pauline Melton (Poole); her former husband James Besta (Omaha); her husband Glenn Cummings; and her brothers, Charles Melton, Clyde Melton (Rusty) and Bobby Melton.
She is survived by: her sister Anna Lou Fulkerson; her sisters-in-law, Kay Besta and Sandy Melton; her children, Cindy Bull (Terry), Deb Spaeth (Tim), Jim (Cesar Gonzalez), Terry Besta (Phyllis) and Paula Besta (Maggie Day); her grandchildren, Nate Egbarts (Trish), Tyler Nath (Meagan), Amanda Self (Zach), Alec Spaeth, Gwyn Besta and Landon Jacobsen; and her great grandchildren, Logan Egbarts, Cade Egbarts, Bodhi Nath, Aurora Nath and Hadley Self. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Reichmuth Funeral Home - Omaha (21901 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Prospect Hill Cemetery (21907 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022).
