He was predeceased by: his brother Chase; and his grandfathers, Vern Klaumann, Jr. and Gary Hunter. He is survived by: his parents, Jennifer and Christopher; his siblings, Amber and Tyler; his grandmothers, Connie Klaumann and Patricia Hunter; his cousins, Samantha Buck (Nick), Sarah Bone (John), Ben Roebuck, Melissa Hunter, Isaiah, Ariahnna and Lennox Peck; and his godparents, Brian and Autumn Wurgler. He is also survived by friends and caregivers.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials are requested to the Lucas Hunter Memorial Fund for distribution to various organizations that were a part of Lucas' journey.
