It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Rogers (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Eddie Rogers; and his son Camaron Rogers. He is survived by: his mother Mary E. Rogers; his children, Latisha I. Rogers, Meca Rogers, Maria Lewis (Andre), LaJewel Humphrey and Luther Darnell Humphrey; his siblings, Keith Wayne Rogers of Colton, CA and Carol Jeanne Rogers of Omaha, NE; his aunts, Ada E. Shepherd of Washington, DC and Rodean Shepherd of Maryland; and his sisters, Paula Patman and Natia Hutt. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

“My deepest condolence goes out to my Mother Mary for the untimely loss of her son, my big brother Luther. Whenever I visited my home town in Omaha or talk with him on the phone from my current home in California, Luther was always quick to engage me with a loving attitude and a positive conversation. I'm praying that my Mother Mary will find strength from God to move forward in peace and comfort during this time of mourning.”
