We are sad to announce that, on February 6, 2026, at the age of 93, Mae Willie Mitchell (Omaha, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dessie Pearl Moore and Jesse James Moore; her sister Cornelia Mary Ann Baker; her husband George Mitchell; and her brother-in-law John Mitchell.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Clyde Mitchell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
