She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Turner and Ina Ree Turner; and her siblings, Johnnie, Willie Turner and Doris Perkins.

She is survived by: her sons, Chris (Brenda) and Kevin Singleton; her grandchildren, Kaelan Samantha Singleton, Nicholas James Singleton and Sydney Singleton; and her sisters, Cleo Holmes, Barbara Smith and Peggy Mackey-Sy (Thierno). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Because they were identical twins, Chris was able to donate bone marrow, which saved his life.
