She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hastreiter and Freda Hastreiter; her siblings, Carroll Hastreiter (Susan), Gene Hastreiter, Anthony Hastreiter, Bonnie Whipple (Lloyd) and Lou Ann Hastreiter; and her siblings-in-law, Leonard Vrbka (Lois), Raymond Vrbka (Betty), LaVerne Vrbka (Polly) and Evelyn Patterson (Pat).
She is survived by: her husband Don; her siblings-in-law, Bob Vrbka (Dottie), Gary Vrbka (Candy), Leona Hastreiter and Elke Hastreiter; her children, Carmen Mebus (Charles) of East Lyme, Connecticut, Greg Vrbka (Nancy) of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Caroline Juliano (Ralph) of Omaha, Nebraska and Claudette Vrbka of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Alissa Sikand (Nikhil), Rachael Mebus, Paige Jann (T. J.), Olivia, Nicholas Vrbka, Joseph and Jack Juliano; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Lyla Sikand, Emilia and Presley Jann. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus, Nebraska or St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey, Nebraska.
