She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hughes and Emma Hughes (Kobs); her children, Robby Smith and Vickie Smith; and her granddaughter Angela LaBar (Ray Ullrich).
She is survived by: her children, Tami LaBar (Russ) and Scott Smith (Angie); her grandchildren, Krissy Simon (Dave), Michael Smith (Claire) and Nickolas LaBar; her great grandchildren, Kortlan, Brendan and Elisabeth Franke; and her sister Virginia Geiser (Tom).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reichmuth Funeral Home - Omaha (21901 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
