She was predeceased by: her sister Ellen Marie Ritz (Schanke); her parents, Charlotte Schanke (Knepper) and Olav Schanke; and her spouse Jerry Stibbs (Gerald) of Omaha. She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Barbara and Jim; her niece Tammy Kirchoffer (Bill); her great-nieces, Angelina and Megan; her great-nephew Christopher; and her niece Murphy.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church (16701 S St, Omaha, NE 68135).
