It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Wayne Rice of Omaha, Nebraska, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Rice and Theresa Rice; and his brothers, Michael Rice and Lynn Rice. He is survived by: his daughter Brandis Rice (Pat Fielder); his sisters, Elizabeth Cassidy and Denise McCauley (Robert); and his sisters-in-law, Barb Rice and Carol Rice. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of somber serenades, the family requests that donations be made to LUNGevity Foundation for lung cancer research or a local music education program in Mark's name, because even in death, he'd want to keep the music playing.
