She was predeceased by: her husband John Barta; her parents, Willis Valder and Evelyn Valder (Moffitt); and her siblings, Eugene Rollins and Janice Scripter.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Barta and Rob Barta; and her sister Karen Sue Whittier. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
