She is survived by : her sister Dorothy Eckmann; and her sister-in-law Marian Eckmann of Harlan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church (2650 Farnam St, Omaha, NE 68131). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
