She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen J. Schimonitz and Martha Mary Schimonitz (Ecker); her husband Charlie of Patrick's Catholic Church; her son Jeffrey D. Bierma; and her granddaughter Jill L. Bierma.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jaime, Jackie, Jenna, Sean, Erika, Alexis, Noah, Rachel, Hannah and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Blake, Bryce, Mallory, Kenzie, Brendan, Jayden, Emma, Elis, Heston, Haeva and Hazel; her children, Nancy Meyer (Tim), Clark Bierma, Fred Bierma (Denise), Susie Tapia (Paul) and Wendell Bierma; and her siblings, Louie Schimonitz of Des Moines, IA and Barbara Jean Swantkoski of Phillips.

Memorials may be directed to the family or to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church for masses.
