He was predeceased by: his former wife Carole; his mother Maria Decker; and his brother-in-law George Widman. He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his daughter Joy Nelson (Rene); his grandson Jeremiah Malchow (Amy); his great grandchildren, Kenny, Robyn and Peter; and his sister Janice Widman.
