It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Hernandez (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her son Michael; her parents, Bobby Simmons and Alice Simmons; and her brother Andy Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Roger McKinley (Jenelle) and Theresa Ritchison; and her sisters, Barb (Michael), Kathy and Theresa. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
