She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert L. Mallinson and Verva V. Mallinson (Snider); her husband Dr. Lawrence R. James; her brother Kenneth H. Mallinson (Mary Jo); and her daughter Laura J. James.
She is survived by: her children, Barrett L. L. James (Michele), Allison James and Lawrence R. James II; her granddaughter Stephanie N. Zoys (George); and her great grandchildren, George and Elle Zoys. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Dundee Presbyterian Church, Cerebral Palsy Foundation or Open Door Mission.
