With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary C. Micek (Omaha, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2025 at the age of 84. As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her son Rick Micek; her parents, Albert Kucirek and Mary Kucirek; and her brother Lou Kucirek. She is survived by: her husband Ken; her daughter Deb Nelsen; her grandson Jeff Tedder; and her sister-in-law Mary Kucirek.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A vigil service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (5223 Q St, Omaha, NE 68117).
