He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Campbell and Margaret Campbell; his son Maurice; his brother Robert Cruse; and his daughters, Eva Jackson and Denisha William.
He is survived by: his children, Miyen, Charisse, Tamieka, Corey, Anthony, Michael, Johnathan, Ishmael and Desean; and his siblings, Russell, Marvell and Phyllis. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
